On March 3, 2023, Turkish Business Council hosted an event in collaboration alongside other business councils and Female Fusion in honour of International Women's Day at the Hyde Hotel, Dubai.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY BREAKFAST EVENT
We had brunch together on March 14 to honour International Women's Day. On this unique occasion, we were welcomed by our esteemed member Hayal Restaurant.

The event was open to men as well. At TBC We know that gender equality is essential and a crucial facet to recognising the importance of both women and men in our society today.

CERAMIC WORKSHOP
After an unprecedented request and success of the first workshop, TBC Art Committee organised a new workshop for the TBC members.

In this Hand Building Ceramic Workshop, we got the opportunity to practise the fundamental methods and learn about the complete ceramics production process. Even though it was a 2-hour workshop, our pieces were prepared and ready to be bisque fired by the end of the session.

ART GALLERY TOUR
TBC Art Committee organised an exciting and inspirational Art Tour in Dubai. At the event, on March 20, 2023, members enjoyed an inspiring day full of art!

ARAB WORLD MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST
Mothers from the TBC family came together for a breakfast in celebration of Mother's Day across the Arab world. A special thank you goes to Lalezar Restaurant for organising the event and hosting us.

Seminar For University Applications Around The World & Mindfulness
For Teenagers
Our distinguished corporate member, Urban Circle, organised a seminar for mindfulness for teenagers. The event covered recent developments in the application process for universities across England, the Netherlands, and the USA. Attendees also enjoyed insight into ‘Mindfulness for teens’ – covering how to cope with the stresses and challenges of being an adolescent in everyday life including exams, relationships, sleep problems, family issues, anxious thoughts and low moods.

MAHALLE PRESENTS A SUNDAY BREAKFAST TO SUPPORT FEMALE CO-OPERATIONS IN THE EARTHQUAKE AREA IN TURKIYE
The Mahalle Team organised a Sunday breakfast to mark their first anniversary and to promote and support the ‘Stand with her’ initiative.

With ‘Stand with her’, Mahalle invited women in the UAE to stand in solidarity with women in Türkiye who have lost their homes, families, businesses, and livelihoods due to the earthquake disaster. They will be announcing specific requests from women and members going forward.
