Welcome to your Turkish Business Council monthly update. July was a chance for many residents to ‘take flight’ and enjoy much needed vacations and family visits, whilst here at TBC we have been busy making plans for the forthcoming events you do not want to miss. Eid Adha and the Islamic New Year gave July another spirit. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) announced a long weekend break for the private sector during Eid and the 30th July for the Hijri New Year. We hope you managed to enjoy the occasions with your family and friends. |

Summer Shape Up The “Summer Shape-Up” event took place at Millennium Place Hotel, Dubai on Tuesday, 5th July. Networking and learning opportunities kept us connected with a ‘well-being’ theme for business and self-care. Thoughtful presentations were enjoyed on the topic of "Fail to plan, plan to fail." principle. 
Inter Council Summer Networking Despite the very unseasonal rain that fell on Dubai, Business Councils from across the Emirates came together for the Inter-council Summer Networking event on 27th July, at Beau Rivage Bistro, Grand Millennium Hotel, Dubai. The event brought members together to connect, network, and enjoy the wider insight we can gain from spending time with other organisations for the benefit of us all.  |
