Welcome to the Turkish Business Council’s monthly update. We hope that the Eid celebrations brought divine happiness into your home and hearts.
Here at the Turkish Business Council we join the grief of the Nation at the great loss of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. His Highness was a great leader who will be remembered forever for his undisputable legacy. We send our sincere condolences to the Royal family, citizens, residents, and the friends of UAE.
Hakan Bahçeci
We also honour the memory of our beloved Hakan Bahçeci (26th May 2020). Hakan Bahçeci was a valuable member of the Turkish Business Society, President of the Turkish Business Council 2012 - 2017 and a successful businessman globally. On the 2nd anniversary of his death, we remember him with love and respect. May his soul rest in peace.
Throughout the month, we celebrated “19 May the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day” to mark the date in 1919 when Atatürk ignited the flame of independence in our hearts and dedicated the auspicious date to the country's youth. The tournaments that started successfully in May continue through into June and we look forward to another month of positive events and connections here at TBC.
