What an exciting month, we organized the first ever 19 May Basketball Meet-Up with the initiation of the Consulate General of Turkey in Dubai and with the help of the organization committee to celebrate May 19 the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day in Dubai! After the online ceremony on the 19th of May, in which the teams were formed and selected, 19 May Dubai Basketball Meet-Up games started on the 28th of May with almost 120 players in 12 teams. The four-day event concluded with the final game and award ceremony on the 5th of June that was honoured by the attendance of our Ambassador H.E. Tugay Tunçer and Consul General Mr. İlker Kılıç. Turkish Business Council would like to congratulate the winners and everyone who participated and would like to again thank our sponsors.
In collaboration with our HR Committee, we are working hard to launch a recruitment portal on our website to help the Turkish community with their career journey. The launch of the portal will be at the end of June and it will serve as a platform for matchmaking for Turkish job seekers residing in the UAE and the available jobs from our members.
