As your business and communication platform, we proudly announce that the Turkish Business Council joined Multi–Nation Business Continuity (MNBC) Task Force, initiated by AmCham Dubai & AmCham Abu Dhabi with other 23 business council’s participation. The mission of the MNBC Task Force is to expand and improve awareness of business goals and support the development of policies that shape a robust trade environment. The joint task force will serve as the integrated window of communication between its representative multi-nation business community members and the UAE government. There are 17 sector working groups. TBC Corporate Members are registered representatives in the sector-relevant committees and are actively involved in these business groups.

On 28th of May 2020, Hakan Bahceci, our beloved, former president of Turkish Business Council passed away. As one of the most prominent Turkish businessmen in the Emirates, his untimely passing away deeply affected each member of the business community in United Arab Emirates as well as the Business world as he was called the Pulse Industry Giant. We received countless condolence messages, phone calls, mails from those who have the privilege of working with him, knowing him or have an acquaintance from the industry all around the world.

Gulfood, the world's largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition, is coming back for its 25th edition with major alliance breakthroughs. 180 Turkish exhibitors more than 50 Turkish delegations will be visiting the trade show between 16th-20th February 2020 at Dubai World Trade Center.
Considering the Turkish professionals working in Dubai in different sectors and industries, Turkish Business Council initiated sectoral committee establishments under the roof of our council. The healthcare sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is witnessing a phase of significant growth. A recent report by Fitch Solutions suggests that that the MENA region’s healthcare market is projected to grow from US$ 185.5 billion in 2019 to US$ 243.6 billion in 2023.
Arab Health, the healthcare conference and trade show in the Middle East first took place in Dubai in 1975 where healthcare industry representatives attend from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the US. This year Arab Health 2020 was a succesful exhibition with over 250 Turkish healthcare sector participants. There were also several Turkish delegations visiting the exhibiton, attending seminars and network event planned by Turkish Business Council.
Turkish Business Council members came together at the Reception organized by the Consul General, Mr. Ilker Kilic and we were honored by our Ambassador Mr. Can Dizdar's attendance. "Together We are Stronger" was the motto of the evening.

TBC is proud of collaborating with Dubai Supreme Council of Energy for the Emirates Energy Award competition which is organized every two years. The senior-level representatives from Dubai Supreme Council of Energy are launching the fourth edition of Emirates Energy Award in Istanbul at Raffles Hotel on 17th September. "Inspiring Innovation for Sustainable Energy" theme aims individuals & companies to rationalize the use of energy while encouraging target participants for joining the competition through Energy Roadshow. The deadline for the submission of applications is 31st December 2019. The TBC is the supporting association of DSCE for this journey to build up a bridge between Turkish public and private business organizations, research centers, universities and individual talents.
Turkish Business Council in partnership with the French Business Council and the Australian Business Council is pleased to announce the following event: « Bad Debt Conference - How to avoid and handle bad debt in a difficult market: from a legal, financial and insurance perspective » taking place on the 26th of September, at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai.
The objective of this event is to provide useful information to SMEs and start-ups on the best ways to avoid and/or deal with bad debt situations, from a legal, financial and insurance point of view. Mr Karim Salem from ADG Legal, Mr Andy Yiacoumi from Credit Man pro, as well as Mr Aurélien Paradis from AU Group will share their experience, insights and tips on the topic.
Turkish Business Council has partnered with the 3rd Arab Ministerial Forum on Housing and Urban Development to provide our members with the opportunity to meet with the key stakeholders involved in ongoing and upcoming housing projects from Arab countries.
The forum is scheduled to take place on 6-8 October, 2019 in Dubai and is set to be a three day event attended by 22 Ministers Of Housing from Arab countries and their technical committees members, along with 500 senior delegates from leading developers, architects, contractors and suppliers.

We celebrated the 96th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic with the attendance of around 1200 guests. The Celebration was organized by the Turkish Business Council at the Emirates Golf Club on 25th of October. Our aim was to create an environment for Turkish families and children to understand and appreciate the meaning and importance of the Republic Day of Turkey. We also wanted to create a relaxing and pleasant venue for all our guests to enjoy dinner, live music and network with each other.
The event started with Turkish National March and commemoration of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and followed by the speeches of The President of Turkish Business Council, Ms Fatma Nilgun Emrem and The Republic of Turkey Dubai Consul General Mr. Ilker Kilic. With great participation from our guests, traditional Flag Ceremony was held with flags and lights. After the ceremony, Turkish music band, Medcezir, took the stage to perform live music for our guests.

TBC organised a real estate sector event on 4th of December 2019 where welcoming session was addressed by our Consulate General Ilker Kilic, afterwards Ahmet Kayhan, President and Co-Founder of Reidin gave a seminar on "The Latest Developments in the Real Estate Sector in UAE and Market Updates".
